If you wanted your orange tree to grow, you wouldn’t just turn the hose on for an hour on Sundays. Likewise, you can’t just go to church on Sunday morning and expect to grow either. Pastor Mark’s sermons are great, but that water alone won’t meet all your spiritual needs. We all need consistent watering, but we also need a

little pruning, fertilizer and some pest control. Chances are if you just show up on Sundays, you aren’t going to have the time and opportunity to grow deep roots.
Just like the orange tree, we need other trees to cross-pollinate to grow big and juicy fruit. Everyone needs a band of brothers (or sisters); a group of people equally committed to growing in Christ We need other believers to support us, hold us up in prayer, help meet our needs and develop relationships. That won’t happen just in the Sunday morning service.
That is what groups are all about. At Narratives we have groups that emerge and develop as the needs arise. Ask us about our current groups or check out the calendar and find the group for you.
